Window

Window - a window is were you usually see the thing that you want os ee if it is a program like halo or just an internet browser it is usually a regtangle shape.

Toolbar

Toolbar - a toolbar is form of bar that has many options to do for example it may help you in searching something for you it usually comes out in internet browsers , to get a toolbar you have to install it .

Title bar

Title bar - a title bar is usually found on the top of the window that you have opened and it will say what is opened from internet explorer or whatever you have opened and in internet explorer it may also say what website you are viewing currently.

Taskbar

Taskbar - a taskbar is a type of bar that may be used to open applications and also to see what applications are opened and running. It is usually on the bottom the screen the taskbar also includes the start menu usually found on windows operating systems.

Scroll bar

Scroll bar - what this does is that you can move the page that you are viewing or the widnow that you have open you can move it from left to right or from up and down

Restore

Restore - what the restore button does is that if the window of the program that you are using is to to big or to small you can just press the restore button and it makes the window become smaller.

Pointing device

Pointing device - a pointing device can be a mouse or in other cases like in a laptop it can just be a touchpad and you move your finger and the pointer moves aswell.

Minimize

Minimize - minimize is when you click on an icon which is just a straight line on a program usually on the top right corner and what that button does is that it makes the window of your program become smaller and it will be placed on your taskbar.

Menu Bar - is where the menus are stored so then when you click on the menu you want ot open it will appear , it is kind of like the taskbar in a desktop .

Menu - A menu is something that has commnads on what to do for example in microsoft word a menu may appear that may say something like save , save as... , open , and other commands.

Maximize - Is an icon on a web browser or a program that is a square and what it does is that it makes the windows bigger of the program that you have open

Icons - they are little pictures that represents the program that you have installed , its also usually in the desktop it also has the name of the program as well.

Folder - it does the same thing as it does in real life its an icon in a computer that can store information or other things for you .

Desktop - When you boot up your computer that is the first thing you see which has a picture of something as your background it also shows icons with names of some programs that you have installed , and it also has a recycle bin .
