Mail Merge Do now

Worksheeet


Worksheet - A worksheet is just one page in excel that would be one there are 3 worksheets in a workbook, if you just need one single page to write your information you are better off using one worksheet

Workbook


Workbook - A workbook is a spreadsheet file. Once you open it it will consist of three pages or worksheets. To start off with then you can add more pages if you wish.

Merge


Merge - You can merge 2 documents into one table or update the information in your main spreadsheet.One examplethat i found was that, suppose you have 2 Microsoft Excel tables "Orders" and "Prices" and they both have a column with the "Product ID". You want to update prices and add product descriptions from the Second table (lookup table) to your Main table.

Header row


Header row - Header row is the top of a document in a spreadsheet which tells you were exactly is the row is located at.

Gridlines


Gridlines - Gridelines are grid lines that look liek graph paper and you can use them as cells to write your information.

Filling


Filling - Is when you use the fill handles in ecel and you make it go into other cells, and it copys it to other cells.

Fill handle


Fill handle - The fill handle is a small black square located in the lower-right corner. The function of the fil handle is that if you have a value in a cell and drag down or across with the fill handle, it will put that value into the cells you drag down or across.b

Descending order - Descending order is the opposite of ascending as it means that it is going downwords in numbers from highest to lowest.

Template - A template is like a sample on how something should look like and then you have to fill in the blanks which is actually very easy .

Superscript - What superscript does is that it makes whatever you have selected to be in superscript to become smaller and above the baseline. So it creates a small letter above the line of text.

Style


Style - a style can be when you make a type of font you like with the the colors you want and different prefrences for different people there are built in styles in Microsoft word but you can also change them if you would like.

Sizing Handles


Sizing Handles - These handles are for when you want to make your picture or graphic bigger or smaller or wider or thinner these handles can also be used to move your image and make them upside down or whatever direction you would prefer.

Header


Header - A header is just like having a heading your name , class, etc. It is always located in the top of your document. It can also include a picture if you want

Graphics


Graphics - A graphic is just a picture and what you can do with a graphic is that you cna resize it and can move it and also you wrap it around tect and crop it.

Footnote


Footnote - A footnote is a number or letter that is used to show that you are trying to show your refrences and then you write where you got it and that is then called the endnote.

Footer


Footer - A footer can be used to write you name or other information in the bottom of your document and it is located in the bottom of your document unlike the header.

Endnote


Endnote - A note placed at the end of a documnet usually in Microsoft Word that can say which refrences you used to get information from your document.

Drawing objects


Drawing objects - When you use Microsoft word it is when you insert objects like shapes and lines it can also be Block Arrows, or Flowcharts and lastly it can also be callouts or stars and banners.

Drawing Canvas


Drawing Canvas - Drawing Canvas is a type of desktop publishing it is when you want to draw or write shapes in your document usually using Microsoft Word. You can also be able to make a 3D object/shape.

Desktop publishing


Desktop publishing - It is also known by the term Page Maker Application , and what it does is that what you see on the page is what you get when you print it out also you can change it so then it can maybe look different when you print it out if you want. Microsoft word can be classified as a Desktop Publishing program.

Crop - When you crop an image that is that if you don't want a part of the image then you can just crop it out.

Clip Art


Clip Art - Clip art is a type of art usually pictures that are stored in Microsoft word and then you can look for it while you are using word 2007, it can also be videos or short music clips.

Banner - a banner is a type of template in Microsoft word that can be used to show words in colors can attractive.

What i can do in the insert tab?

One thing that you can start off by doing is putting a cover page and it gives it like a background for the piece of work you have. Another thing that you can do is insert a table into your document. You can also insert a picture from any of your documents, or you can also add a clip art any shapes you may want to put , you can also add something called smart art and you can also add charts like bar graphs and other types of graphs, you can also insert a hyperlink to direct a word to an internet website. You can also add a bookmark to your words or you can even insert a cross reference. You can also add a header or a footer and also you can add a page number to any of your pages. You can also insert a Text Box, or Wordart which makes your titles bigger and colorful, you can also add a date and time to your document and also add a signature and also add an object you can also add a symbol like a math symbol and also add equations like math equations.
